I am super excited to have gotten the chance to become a reviewer for the folks over at Bad Dragon. I had been seeing all these non phallic dildos all over people's blogs and so I went to browse the site. It took months before I took the plunge on contacting them about reviewing, I was excited to get the "We would love to work with you!" email. I was a little confused when I first started going into the creation selections but the folks over at Bad Dragon were very helpful. I made a separate post so I don't have to go into the "How to Customize" your Bad Dragon in each review I do. All Bad Dragon items are handcrafted here in the United States. Use & Overview I set out on my way to create my very own and very first Bad Dragon creation. I had been eyeballing a few different toys but I settled on the Winston's Tail as it appealed to me and didn't seem so out there. Winston's Tail can be used by the female and male bodied alike. Since the "feet" are flared out you could easily use Winston's Tail anally without any issues at all. I used it vaginally and enjoyed it. All Bad Dragon toys are made of silicone and come in many different sizes. There is a size for everyone from beginners to queen size toy users. I got my Winston's Tail is size small. A size small measures in at 7 inches long with a usable length of 6 inches. It is important to remember to remove the batteries from your precious toys before storing. It is recommended to remove the batteries before storing for the simple fact that batteries can and will explode without warning. I personally have been there and done that I was pissed, I thought I had ruined my Silly Rabbit because I left the batteries in it with the cradle inside. I was cleaning out my toys an going through them checking to see what had batteries in them so I could replace or remove them. Yeah I was too late on him 2 out of the 3 batteries had exploded!! I was so made luckily the inside of the battery compartment was easy to clean with no issues but the battery cradle was RUINED which meant the toy way too. I got to thinking I KNEW I had to have a toy from CalExtoic that I didn't like or use that had the same battery cradle in it. I did it was in my Wall Bangers Deluxe Rabbit Pearl, I no longer use this toy since it is made of jelly!! Score I was able to bring my Silly Rabbit back to life! That experience brings me to this post!!!!! There are a few ways you can store the batteries without mixing partially used batteries with your new batteries and without having to leave them in the toy. With this storage deal you will also see aside from warranty reasoning on why I keep my original toy packaging. I have some pictures here that show a few ways to store the batteries inside of the toy packaging. These ways still will NOT ruin your toys if the batteries happen to explode, unless it eats through the plastic. You can see in the photo to the left that there are batteries inside the packages. While they are inside of the packages they aren't touching the actual toy. These toys are from Blush Novelties the Coconut Splash, has a piece of plastic that goes over the vibrator itself leaving empty spaces behind it. I tossed the batteries in there before replacing the cardboard insert as well. The batteries aren't touch the Coconut Splash at all! In the other two photos shown is the Nimbus, you can see the single battery that powers it on the top of toy. This isn't touching Nimbus as there is a plastic piece that goes over the tip and the battery fits in there easily. In the photos to the right you will find Maia Toys pictured. As you can see in each case every toy is in a plastic cradle that holds it when it arrives. When a toy has a plastic cradle you can always store the batteries or battery cradle in the back in the openings. Yes the can slide around but they are unlikely to come in contact with the actual toy. You can also see with these particular toys the papers that are in the bad those to are laying in the back of the plastic cradle that is how they came so why not toss the batteries back there too? With the Maia Toys they come with toy pouches, if you choose to store your toys in the toy pouch provided or any toy pouch for that matter you could always slip the batteries in a snack size Ziploc bag to keep them separate from the toys themselves. While all of this sounds like a huge pain in the ass and a lot of work it will be worth it so you don't go to change out batteries to find your favorite toy is ruined!! Plus it is also said that if batteries are left inside and not being used it can also drained them quicker! That is why when you get toys that have the little button style batteries inside they have a plastic barrier in between the battery and the connector to preserve your battery's life before it gets to you. Let's all face it we don't want our toys ruined or our battery's life to be shortened. Proper toy storage and toy care can make your toys last for many years if cared for properly. The Neila is a external clitoral massager that was designed by, Dr. Laura Berman. Neila, is a part of the Intimate Basics Collection from CalExotics. I received Neila free of charge from CalExotics as a part of their Sexpert program. Read on to learn more....... Overview/Design Neila is a silicone 10 function dual exciter massager according to the packaging. I see her as a simple clitoral vibe. Neila, is geared towards those who are female bodied but it can be used on a male bodied person if you wished to do so. Her design is to stimulate the clitoris and the labia but you could easily stimulate the shaft of the penis or the testicles with the "feelers" Neila. Being on the smaller side of the sex toy world you could easily travel with Neila as long as you take the battery out so you don't accidentally turn her on while in transit. With being only 4 inches long an about 1.25 inches in diameter its easy to hide. While it doesn't have any realistic properties to it she isn't 100% discreet, most people would know what it was used for if they seen it. The "feelers" on the top are very flexible an you will be able to bend them the way you need them but they won't stay that way. You will find a round "nose" in the middle just under the "feelers" this could be used for pressing against your clitoris. Neila isn't designed to be inserted into the body but if for some reason you chose to insert her only about 2.5 inches would be able to be inserted, please remember no flared base means she is NOT anal safe. You can tickle and tease the perineum with her if you wanted but don't insert her anally. Since Neila is a simple easy to use clitoral vibe she is non intimidating and can be used by beginners and advanced users alike. She comes in only one color which is a lavender color. Material Neila's main material is silicone but she also has ABS plastic parts as well. Silicone is known as a nonporous, hypoallergenic, phathalates free and latex free material. So what does all this mean? It means that you shouldn't have any reactions to the materials, not chemicals will be released into your body and it won't suck up an hold in your bodily fluids. Since silicone is nonporous you don't have to worry about the material holding in bodily fluids and harboring horrible bacteria that can ruin your toy or cause you an infection. I don't know about you but personally myself I do NOT want an infection that could have been prevented. Silicone can be sterilized* for partner share, sharing between orifices or just to make sure you keeping yourself free of infections all around. If you use Neila an you later find out you have an infection an you did when you used her don't fret you can save her an you can read how in the cleaning section below. For the most part silicone is known to have give to it an that is true here for the most part. Some of the vibe feels as if it is a plastic shell underneath with silicone skin overlay which is fine and still great. Sometimes silicone will have a draggy feel to it when it is ran along the skin, I found this semi true with Neila but a little bit of lubricant can help that issue. She isn't fully solid with no give or movement, her "feelers" are a little squishy and move around with ease and the "nose" has the same feel almost with an exception of its more on the firmer side but still has give. ABS plastic was the other material I mention it too has a lot of the properties silicone has such as being nonporous, phathalates free, latex free and hypoallergenic. However ABS plastic can't be fully sterilized like silicone can. You can wipe it down with alcohol an kill germs that way. Plastic as well as know is hard an has no give to it. The only parts on the outside that are plastic are silver which is a ring around the top of the battery cap and a small frame around the controls. Controls & Functions The controls and functions for Neila are pretty simple, there are only 2 buttons you have to worry about. The power on/off button and the pattern button. You will find the on/off button at the bottom with the pattern button on top. The controls are easy to push without issue and I believe they are easy to reach while in use. Powered by 1AA battery she has some power behind her but not like I am use to having, her vibrations are very buzzy feeling. I prefer deep rumbly vibrations personally. To power on Neila you will push the power button once and to turn her off you would simply push the button again, if you get interrupted you will be able turn it off fast. Note though that there is no type of memory on the vibe that will remember your setting if you have to turn it off, you will have to cycle back through all the patterns to get to the one you were using. I hate when I have to scroll back through patterns so that is a downfall for me personally some could careless if there is a memory option. Scrolling through the patterns is just as simple are powering Neila on/off, you just simply hit the button on the bottom til you get to the pattern you like. I will describe them below the best way I can. 1.)Steady Low Vibration 2.)Steady Medium Vibration 3.)Steady High Vibration 4.)Fast Pulsation 5.)Fast Pulsation 6.)Medium Pulsation An honestly that is about all I can make out before my hand goes numb and they all start feeling the SAME way. The controls light up an they are light purple, when in pulsation mode the lights flicker. That might be an issue with some. I don't find Neila to be all that loud but she isn't whisper quiet, I can hear it over my fans. I doubt you can hear it through a closed door but I would recommend a T.V. or radio be on just in case. According to the packaging and the website Neila is waterproof, meaning you should be able to take her in the bath or shower without any issue. I don't take my toys in the shower since I am not big in to water playing. It comes in great handy for those like myself who don't like taking toys in the shower but wash them off in the sink. Make sure before submerging in water though that the clear O-Ring is in place an your battery cap is on tightly. If the O-Ring isn't in place an the cap isn't on tight water can seep in causing damage to your Neila. Packaging The packaging that Neila comes in is a simple cardboard box. In no way is the box discreet There is a photo of Neila on the front of the box an it states that it is a 10-function massager. On one side it explains what she is used for an a few of the features on the other is a little bit about Dr. Laura Berman. The back of the box just gives some of the special features such as 10-functions, waterproof, body safe silicone and more; this information is displayed in 4 different languages. I don't really find the box great for gifting or storage. If gifting make sure you do it when people aren't around to avoid making the receiver uncomfortable unless it is okay with that person. For storage purposes, the box will rip or fall apart after being open and closed a lot. I also found that the cardboard isn't all that sturdy so the box can get crushed easily as well. Caring/Storage Caring for Neila is pretty simple since its body safe silicone and waterproof there are many ways you can clean her. For regular cleaning you can use an antibacterial toy cleaner, toy wipes, baby wipe or hot water with an antibacterial soap these particular ways will NOT sterilize her for sharing. If you want to sterilize Neila you can wipe her down with a 10% bleach solution making sure you rinse her thoroughly after, this is the ONLY way you can sterilize her for sharing. Since there are motors inside do NOT boil or place Neila in the dishwasher as the extreme temperatures can damage her motors. When storing Neila you can use the box she came in but it won't last long. I would recommend a toy pouch or using a Ziploc bag if you want to keep it separate from touching other toys. Some materials can react with others which is why I recommend keeping toys separate from touching each other. If you need a lubricant water based is the best to use with silicone to avoid damage to your toy. If you like using silicone or hybrid lubes do a spot test to make sure there won't be a reaction. Experience I will have to say that Neila left me wanting MORE in fact she didn't even get the motor warmed up so to speak. I did my nightly routine got a shower and went to test out toys the only toy I tested tonight was Neila. I prepped her sprayed her down with toy cleaner to clean her up before use as I do all my toys. I laid back an went to playing or well attempting to. I tried several different ways of stimulating my clitoris, I tried bending the antennas where they were on the outside of my labia while trying to nestle the "nose" of the vibe to my clit that didn't work. I tried spreading my labia an using the antennas on my clit, that didn't work either. My vagina is "plump" or fat. or whatever you want to call it. You literally have to search for my clit if you didn't know exactly where it was. Neila was a HUGE fail, I think the antennas would have worked the second way I tried if she had more power to her. On a scale of 1-5 I would say that she was around a 1 maybe a 2 on the highest setting but that is being generous. So with a power level of 2/5 it just isn't going to work for me no matter what I do; from the design of the stimulator down to the low vibration it just isn't going to work. Pros- Silicone Small Cons- Weak Vibrations Design just can't be worked with Buzzy Vibrations In the end I was left not aroused and looking for another toy to do the job!! I reached for a different toy that I KNEW could get me to my O an went on with my night. If you are a beginner, don't have a fat/plump vagina and you prefer weaker vibrations this might work for you. Thank you to CalExotics for providing me with Neila free of charge as a part of their Sexpert program. I was able to pick out a new item from Tabu Toys, I was asked if I wanted to review another dildo or if I wanted to move on to a different category. As you will see I moved on to the vibrators section since I seen they had some new vibes that looked very interesting. When I seen the Tokyo Design Mode I knew it was something I HAD to try an add to my collection. I love dual function toys especially rabbit style vibes. I was excited since it had some features that I enjoy during foreplay with a partner so I had some high hopes on this one. Read on to find out more about the Tokyo Design Mode an find out if it made the cut in my book. Overview/Design The Tokyo Design Mode has many purposes to it, it was designed to massage the G-Spot, clitoris as well as the perineum an has dual motors inside. Mode is offered in 4 colors Pink, Lavender, Orange and Black but Tabu Toys only offers it in black. Made with 100% body safe silicone. With a very oddly shaped head that is designed to massage the G-Spot, has a narrow part at the tip an makes for easy insertion. The bump in the top of the shaft moves back and forth as if you were being fingered this has its own control apart from the clitoral attachment. The clitoral attachment has its own motor, is about an inch long, is flexible and has little "bristle" like feelers on the tip. You will find a tail on the back towards the bottom of the shaft this is meant to stimulate the perineum. In no way do I find the Mode intimidating, it has a slim shaft that measures in at 1.25 inches in diameter. The shaft itself is pretty short as well the overall length is 7 inches long with only 4 of those inches being insertable. I find that beginners to intermediate users could get use out of this particular vibrator. If you are a size queen an like the full feeling this won't work well for that. Mode is mainly designed for those who are female bodied and for vaginal penetration. Since there is a clitoral arm I would think that you could use this anally with no issue but I would use with caution since the clitoral arm is very flexible. If you choose to use this anally I could see it being used on a male for prostate massaging. If you use this between partners as well as different orifices use a condom or sterilize before doing so. Material-What is it Made of? Mode is made out of body safe silicone, which means it is nonporous, has no smell, latex free, phthalates free and hypoallergenic. If you have had reactions to other toy material like jelly, rubber, TPR or something that wasn't silicone you should be able to use this without issue. Silicone works well with sensitive skinned people. I have a picky vaginal an can't use jelly, rubber, latex and toys made with lesser quality materials as they break me out. Silicone also will not hold bodily fluids they can't be absorbed into the toy which is great if you are prone to get any type of infections or plan to share your toys. It is recommended that you use a water based lubricant with silicone toys I was sent a sample of Liquid Silk which I haven't used, but reading up on it Liquid Silk, while advertised as a water based lubricant it is NOT it is a hybrid. The Liquid Silk has dimethicone in it which is a silicone base polymer. I personally used a hybrid lube called Spunk mine was the Pink formula that I got directly from the manufacture. I didn't spot test like I normally would (I recommend spot testing to make sure there is no reaction) there was no damage done by using a hybrid lube. Hybrid means its a perfect blend of water based and silicone based ingredients. There is no type of texture on the shaft of the Mode, it is smooth aside from the bump in the tip for the G-Spot massaging. On the clitoral arm there are little feelers that you can feel, they don't really have much texture to them but I could feel them moving around. They don't seem poky and they don't hurt when using it. Sometimes silicone can have a drag to it when used without lubricants, I didn't find that to be true with the Mode when running it across my skin without lube being added. There is a seam that runs down the middle of the shaft, it can be felt with bare hands, I however couldn't feel it while in use. The base of the Mode where you will find the controls is made of plastic that has a velvety overlay. Plastic is a nonporous material as well as being phthalates free and latex free. At the bottom of the vibe it has 3 little feet on it that are kind of pointy but you won't have to worry about that being an issue while in use. The feet allow you to stand the Mode up on your headboard, nightstand, dresser or counter. Controls & Functions Mode is battery powered by 2AAA batteries that you place in the bottom of the toy. There is a good amount of power from the Mode considering that it is powered by only 2 batteries. You will find on the bottom after you remove the cap a (+) and a (-) showing how to put the batteries in, replace cap and make sure it is on tightly. You can enjoy the Mode in the bath/shower or in the bed/dry areas, he is waterproof. Make sure before submerging in water though that the clear O-Ring is in place an the battery cap is tight an secure. To operate the Mode you will use one or both of the buttons on the control panel. With only 2 buttons it is easy to use and control. The top button controls the G-Spot massager, you will push it once to power it on. There are 3 speed settings on the G-Spot massager to choose the one you want simply hit the button once til you reach the one you want. To turn off you can either push an hold for 3 seconds or push til it stops which is the 4th time you push it from the first setting. The bottom button operates the clitoral attachment, push once to power it on. There are 6 different vibration settings. 1.)Steady Vibration-Low 2.)Steady Vibration-Medium 3.)Steady Vibration-High 4.)Pulsation-Short,Short,Long 5.)Slow Short Pulsation 6.)Combination Off All The Above You will push the bottom button once til you get to the setting you want it too works the same as the top button. The control pad illuminates blue when either control is turned on, this is letting you know that you have power an are working. You can feel the vibrations from the clitoral attachment travel down the shaft as well. If you don't like the motion of being fingered you can always turn that option off an just enjoy the vibrations in the clitoral attachment and vice versa. On a scale of 1-5 I would say that the Mode clitoral attachment is a 4/5. I will note though that these are buzzy vibrations not deep rumbly ones. I did find that my hand would go numb when holding on to the Mode. When it comes to sound, if you are a person who likes quiet toys this isn't one you will want to add to your collection. Personally I found it to be on the loud side when the G-Spot massager is on, it gets louder when both motors are running at the same time as well. If you use just the clitoral attachment motor it isn't all that loud. Out of a 1-5 scale I would say that the Mode is between a 2-3/5 which means I would recommend using when no one is home or you play music or have the T.V. on for background noise. Packaging The packaging is pretty awesome for gift giving and storing if you ask me. While it isn't discreet it is sturdy and has some basic information about the Mode. There are a few parts to the packaging that it comes in, there is a sleeve that slides over the actual box that holds the Mode. When I received my package in the mail an opened it I found the vibe in its box slid into a plastic bag with a lube sample of Liquid Silk Lubricant. I slid the box out of the bag read everything on the box. It gives info stating that it is waterproof, uses AAA batteries (not included), is body safe silicone and more. On the back of the sleeve you will see that you can get Mode in a few different colors that aren't offered on the Tabu Toys website. If you are worried about people knowing what is inside of the box you can always toss the sleeve as the next part of packaging is pretty discreet for the most part. Once you remove the sleeve you will find an almost plain white box underneath, the ONLY thing on this is the words Tokyo Design. In all honesty most people will have NO idea what that is, but inquiring minds might snoop so you will have to be careful there. The words are a simple silver lettering. Lift the magnetic side flap to reveal the Mode nestled into the plastic holder. If you look to the right an right below the clitoral attachment there is an empty space. I was looking an discovered that the batteries fit in there, why that is there no clue since it states batteries are NOT included an there weren't any batteries inside when I opened it. I personally would suggest that if you choose to keep the packaging for storing to remove the batteries an place in the slots. Removing the batteries can save you toys from accidental battery explosions. It does happen I have had it happen to me with another toy. I love when I get good packaging that I can use for storage an not having to worry about how I plan to store my toys if the box gives way. Care & Storage Caring for your Mode is simple, there are a few ways to clean it but only one will sterilize it for sharing. You can use an antibacterial toy cleaner, toy wipes, baby wipes or washing in hot water with an antibacterial soap making sure you get in all the crevices leaving no bodily fluid behind. Take extra time when cleaning the clitoral attachment as the little bristle like feelers can trap fluids so clean with care. Also there is a crease between where the shaft ends an the control panel begins, make sure to clean there really well too as bodily fluids can get in there as well. I know many of you have read in my reviews as well as other reviews about silicone being able to be boiled while this is true you will NOT want to do this with items that have motors in them. When a toy has a motor inside you do NOT want to place in a boiling pot of water or in the top rack of the dishwasher!!!! Why you might ask because high temperatures can damage your motors and then you will be left with a dildo instead of a vibrator. When using toys always make sure that you are properly lubricated whether it be with your natural lubrication or one out of a bottle. It is recommended to use a water base lube with silicone toys. I however used a hybrid lube that is offered on Tabu Toys only difference is mine is the Pink formula. I successfully used the Pink Spunk lube which is a hybrid water/silicone based, I had no issues with material reaction. If you want to use a silicone lube make sure to spot test before slathering the lube on. Not all "silicone" is true silicone so make sure it is 100% silicone an can be used with a hybrid or silicone lube. Storing should be simple you can either use the box it came in, Ziploc bag or a toy pouch. I like to use the packaging all my toys come in even though it is bulky but if I have a warranty on a toy I will need the packaging so it works out for me. I also like to use the packaging to make sure I have it if I plan to give away my toys that can be sterilized. My Experience Now on to the part that I am sure MANY of you have been waiting for....Did the Mode bring me to an Orgasm an did it work the way it was suppose to. I am here to say that I can only rate this a 3/5 for a few reasons. While I was super excited to get the Mode because of the back & forth fingering motion it has, I was let down. The motor is super loud an kind of a turn of in all honesty but the part that let me down the most on that function was it did NOT work. I couldn't feel the "fingering" motions inside me and I love that feeling especially when being on the receiving end of oral. Total let down on that one. I do love the slimmer shaft as most toys with bigger shafts don't workout so well for me unless they have give to them an are squishy. The clitoral attachment ROCKED and was packed with AMAZING vibration power, just wish it wasn't so buzzy. If the vibrations where deep and rumbly I would def be in Orgasm Heaven with the Mode. While I did reach orgasm in fact a few with the Mode, it won't be a go to toy sadly. I also like the fact that the designer and manufacture made it with 2 controls because I don't always like my internal action the same as my external. Being able to change each individual motor by itself is always a plus. So overall I got to orgasm great but downfall there were too many cons for me. I will say that it is pretty decent for the price tag it carries since there are toys with less power and ever lesser materials that run more then the Mode does. Pros- Silicone Each Motor Operates Independently Great Power Cons- Loud G-Spot Massage G-Spot Massger Didn't Work As Intended Buzzy Numbing Vibrations If you think that the Tokyo Design Mode will work for you head on over to Tabu Toys to pick your's up today for $41.00 before taxes and shipping. Want to Stalk the Folks of Tabu Toys? Here are a few ways Friend them on Facebook Follow them on Twitter & 2nd Twitter Thanks goes out to Tabu Toys for providing me with the Tokyo Design Mode free of charge in exchange of an unbiased and honest review No need for a dozen roses when this one won't wilt and die on you! This rose also known as the Icicles No.12 keeps on giving even after you have reached orgasm. The wonderful folks over at Pipedream sent this over in my goodie box a month or so back. I love this piece I have been lusting after it for YEARS literally, it would go in the cart an it would come right back out of the cart at checkout cause I wanted something so much more. Want to know more?! Read on to find out how it worked for me...... Use/Overview The Icicles No.12 is a decorative dildo that is very discreet in a sense that you could set it on your headboard, nightstand or anywhere really an no one who isn't a sex toy guru would know what it is. Some people may just see it as decorative glass piece you have on display. It is made out of pink and clear Pyrex glass. The No.12 can be used by men and women alike since it has a flared base at the bottom of the shaft, with a flared base it can safely be used anally. This gorgeous piece's head is shaped like a flower, it isn't your typical bulbous or phallic head so it is a little awkward to insert. As you can see the shaft isn't slim all the way down it slims down then bulges out then slims down again an continues the pattern til it gets to the base. I like that there isn't much that distracts from the head of the wand and that is slims down some in between the bulges I will explain why on that one later in my experience section. The No.12 has a decent length to it. It measures in at 7 3/4 inches long with an insertable length of 7 1/2 inches, having a longer length helps when using it alone. The circumference is around 4 3/4 inches with a diameter at 1 1/5 inches at the widest part of the toy. Downfall is one of the biggest parts of the shaft is the head so you can start slim and work up in size. Since the No.12 has this type of base I believe that it would easily work with an O-Ring in a harness for pegging fun or if you wanted your partner to penetrate you using this gorgeous piece. Please note since this material has NO give to it and is very hard, use with caution. Voice what you like and how fast, slow or hard you want it if you are using this with a partner. Using it too roughly can cause bruising of the anus or cervix. Material/Texture The Icicles No.12 is made out of Pyrex glass also known as Borosilicate glass, yes just like the cooking dishes you bake your brownies in. Pyrex glass is very durable an can take on a lot but you still have to be careful with it. With the No.12 is made of glass you want to make sure you inspect it before and after each use, make sure there are no scratches, chips or cracks. If there are scratches on the surface that can catch your nail or skin you won't want to use this as it can cut the vaginal/anal tissue which isn't good. If there is a crack or chip you will want to discontinue use and contact customer service about their product warranty you will want to make sure you register your products!!!! Skimming over the warranty info it doesn't give me much to work with to tell you what is or isn't covered so make sure you contact their customer service department. Pyrex/Borosilicate glass is a nonporous, latex free, pthalates free, hypoallergenic material. All the above means that it is body safe and won't hold in bodily fluids or let out harsh chemicals into the body. The Icicles No.12 can be sterilized and shared between yourself and your partner(s) if you choose to. Make sure you follow the cleaning instructions in the Care Section at the bottom of the post to find out how to sterilize your wand. If you like temperature play Icicles is a great way to partake in that. You can either warm or chill down your No.12. There are specific ways to do this, the instructions on the packaging I DO NOT agree with and I will explain that. To Warm Up Your No.12 You will want to either run it under hot/warm tap water or soak it in a cup of hot/warm tap water. Let it soak for a few minutes to take in the warmth of the water temperature. Touch this to the inside of your arm to make sure you will be able to handle the temperature of the warmth. **Note your anal/vaginal tissues is MORE sensitive so it could feel hotter once in use** The Icicles box suggests placing your No.12 into the microwave, PLEASE DO NOT do this as glass heats unevenly an what feels okay in one spot will not in others. Stick strictly to warming up your glass via hot/warm tap water. To Chill Down Your No.12 You will want to run it under cold tap water or place it in a cup of ice water. Doing this will keep it wet where it won't stick to your insides like you see happening in movies with the, pole and tongue in the snow. I don't know about you but I don't want something sticking to my insides, which brings us to what NOT to do to chill it down. The package suggests to place the wand into the freezer, this will chill it real quick BUT, it can also make it where it gets icy an stick to your skin. When it comes to texture the No.12 is pretty smooth for the most part. You do have some texture in the top part of the "head" where it makes what would be the petals on the flower if it were real. Some of the petals feel a little pointy but not to where you can feel them during use. Down the shaft is smooth but you have bulges that pop up then straight parts adds to the pleasure. When doing temperature play make sure not to take your No.12 from one extreme temperature to another. Going from hot to cold can weaken the glass causing it to easily be broken. When Pyrex glass breaks it doesn't shatter it breaks in to big chunks. You don't have to so much worry about it when chilling an then warming to body temperature. The temperature deal mainly applies to boiling it to sterilize it then chilling it. Packaging I absolutely LOVE the packaging for the Icicles line as well as other Pipedream packaging. The No.12 is no exception to this, you will get a elegant box with tasteful photos of the dildo on the box. When it comes to the front of the box there is a little ribbon hanging to the side you can pull up on this to reveal the No.12. There is a peek-a-boo window in the front of the box which I love. Once you open the box you will find a protective styrofoam insert where the wand rests. I love that there is a cutout that is the outline of the wand so it fits snuggly in the foam so it doesn't slide around during transit to you. You can also use the styrofoam insert as well as the box for storage to protect your No.12 from getting damaged. I would say that the box is tasteful enough for gift giving but still not appropriate to give in front of people IF the receiver doesn't want others knowing they use adult products. The package has plenty of info on it about how to care for the wand as well as how to partake in temperature play. I really wish Pipedream would remove the microwave and freezer options when it comes to temperature play. I have seen others voice that it is unsafe to do temperature play that way. Care & Storage When it comes to glass it is pretty simple to care for it since its nonporous an has no motor it can be sterilized. There are a few ways you can clean your No.12 but only a few will sterilize it where it can be shared. -Antibacterial Toy Cleaners -Toy Wipes or Baby Wipes -Warm Soap & Water **These ways sterilize your Icicles No.12 for sharing with your partner or to sterilize in general -Boiling In A Pan Of Water For 10 Minutes** -Top Rack Of Dishwasher** -10% Bleach Solution Soak For 10 Minutes & Rinse Thoroughly** When cleaning make sure you clean it really well as bodily fluids can get caught in the creases in the "head" where the "petals" come together. You could easily use a soft bristle toothbrush to clean that part really well. Storing is simple you can either use the package that it arrives in or purchase a toy pouch that many online toy sites offer. You can also easily make a toy pouch as well. You can use any lubricant you want with glass. Experience I had a very positive experience with my Icicles No.12 an wished I had actually gotten it sooner. With there being a round head that tapers off my kegels would lock around the bud of the rose. It felt amazing but was also a pain in the rear to get it to release. It was easy to use with the length as well as the design. Most toys with a girth of 1.5 inches doesn't work with me I was able to make this one work better then I have other thicker glass toys. With a perfect amount of a hybrid lube I was able to make this work perfectly. Also even though it isn't designed for G-Spotting if I bent the shaft down just right I could get the round part of the head to hit just right. I am so glad that Pipedream sent me this off my list.
